I feel for you guys! Great development of your juniors and the results must make you very proud. However I think that your recent form clouds the fact that Furner is still a very average coach. But I suppose with Big Bro in charge he was always going to be safe as houses. Imagine if you guys could secure a good coach (and an non-incestuous boardroom)?

On a side note, as a non-raiders fan, I reckon much of your good form is thanks to McCrone. He is a truely under-rated and tough footballer.

I'm surprised you guys are so happy with Furner. The guy has a 43% strike rate. Your squad could be top 4 every year with a better coach IMO

the raidens have grown on me this year with mccrone and reece "lightning" robinson in my team. but i fear the worst next year when ur run of alternate form seasons continues...

I maintain that Raiders making week 2 of the finals is actually a bad thing for the club. Just another excuse to re-sign Furner.
