Gigantour was awesome. Was at the Brisbane show. Megadeth played about 2 hours including an 8 song encore. F*cking sweet as. Dave is a LEGEND.

Great guitarist, $hit singer.
Watching him butcher A Tout Le Monde live (vocally) because his guitar parts are tricky still stands in my mind, he should get someone else to sing and just play guitar and help write the songs. I don't think vocally he should be fronting a band, but his guitar chops are cetainly up there.

I have all their albums, my fave is countdown and Youthanasia (yeah i know Youth was widely slammed by the hardcore fans, but I really like that album, they matured as song writers). I also love their album covers, well up to Youthanasia, after that they weren't so good.
