Not sure how I ended up watching this, but this is from June. Looks like Beau Ryan fat shamed Taylor first (1. 40)

Genuinely a waste of talent. Could have been an all time great forward if his commitment to training matched his natural talent

Still he will always have the “take me now I have seen it all” moment

Saw him at Salter Oval in Bundaberg playing in the Q Cup for the Comets (??) sometime around 2010. Might have been when he was dropped from the Broncos.

He lasted less than five minutes before going down on his haunches totally gassed. Walked past me going off and I was surprised he was no taller than me. But his arms were bigger than my legs and I weighed about 95 kgs then.

The epitome of laziness and lack of fitness.

Never reached the heights he should of. But how many guys his size could play first grade rugby league in 2019? The game is moving on.

He played for Australia and Queensland, and 181 first grade games. Despite those achievements it's still fair to say he shat all over his own career.

During the off season there was a story about a digital company thaybgit selected as they invented an accurate way to measure momentum in a game to spit out as a useful stat for coaching staff.

Before that it was David Taylor. If he is taking hitups on the burst it means they have momentum and the defensive is retreating. If he is out in the centres and nowhere to be seen your team is struggling for metres and doesn't have momentum

Obviously his heart was not fully committed to it as he didn't have the discipline to keep at a professional level.

Sad in one way but on his day he would have been a nightmare to tackle.
