tbh if i lived in canberra id just stop following footy
Its been a prety tough few weeks as a raiders fan. The pounding you guys will give us this week will no doubt be the icing on the cake

Some managers just try and stick as many clauses as possible in the contract in their clients favour.
This could very well be a coup to get rid of fergo from the slg.
It's crossed my mind a lot over the last few years.
I have very little interest in rugby league these days.
So what is it then when the club expects a player to honour a contract, kmav?like a good manager should.
It's a business...

Steve Kearney to the Raiders
I consider this option every day.tbh if i lived in canberra id just stop following footy
Lol - Always Green will be blowing his load at that prospect.
The options:
Henry returns. Unlikely because he shafted them for the Cowpats gig.
Brownie returns to Australia: Unlikely because it goes against the traffic from Canberra to Kogarah.
Kearney - likely.
Griffin - if the Broncos punt him - but very unlikely.
Brad Arthur - possible, because he'd be cheap and the Raiders are a tight arsed club.
Sheens: unlikely. That would be like Canterbury re-hiring Warren Ryan.
Put your money on Mooks - with Ben Roberts to follow.

The only thing I'll forgive you is having an extremely myopic view on rugby league. You'll forgive me if I'm a little skeptical about that, considering you're currently lurking on a Rugby League forum.

Yeah I agree with everything here.As I see it fergo is now fair game for any club along with the other players rumoured to have this clause. This is their legal right.
No one can complain about players activating clauses if the situation calls for it. Its just Milfords hasn't.
That said might as well just release him now and completely start fresh. It means making some calls regarding mccrone and sadly campo
What is it when a club forces a contracted player out who has done nothing wrong. That happens all the time and doesn't get a fraction of the attention compared to when its the player wanting out.So what is it then when the club expects a player to honour a contract, kmav?
