AT the star of this season it was pretty much agreed with Raper that Graham would return to the club for 2005.

I'm not sure if that still stands, however NIcks relegation to reserves at the tiges certainly indicates he is not in Sheens long term plans, perhaps nick made his plans for next season clear to sheens ?

I heard that too Beeker. I think it has been said on here a few times too. No doubt he would want to play here again either.

I agree mate, but dont forget he was foced into 11 or 12 at the tigers, with the signing of scott sattler, he is greatly out of place as a hit em up 2nd rower, and his best games have been when he has gotten to lock. I saw his trial up the coact pre season and h carved up at lock, but relaly struggled at 2nd row.

Obvioulsly not liking playting a position can really effect ones form, and if he came home and was happy, well, the turn around can be potentially huge. DOnt forget he was greatly unhappy under opes aswell which contributed to his form.

PLayers are like hroses mate, a change of stable can work wonders. look at roberts !

I do NOT want Nick Graham back. No thanks. He is past it and Anderson wasn't necessarily wrong in culling him.

Why on earth would we seriously want to bring Graham back?

He never really lived up to the skills he has and his best days are way behind him.

Surely we would be better served getting a younger player with some promise and a future?

Who's Mr Weekly? I'm a team player, not a person who bags all the time.
Why ask me about Nick Graham? But I'll try to suss it out.
Truce Reefy, lets keep the forum up to date.

Daniel Dumas looks by far the pick of the locks we have a choice of (including Graham if he came back).

Then you can play Bird, Hilder and Bails there as well.

I don't think we need him at all.

How Old is Graham? And does this strike anyone else as a backwards step? Especially with Sully, Bird, and Hilder on the up.

Nick Graham didnt offer that much during his last few years at the Sharks except a handy offload. His ball playing years and kicking game days are well behind him. I doubt he'd get on with Kimmorley at all. He doesnt seem too keen to be at the Tigers, in fact I saw him at Northies when the Tigers were playing in NZ and half the time he didnt even have his eye on the TV. I dont know if he's sulking or what but he's not the answer to our problems, that's for sure. Let's not forget he admitted he was going easy in a "comfort zone" at Cronulla. He's a good bloke and all that but we'd be best to leave him at the Tigers, instead of bringing him back and having him risk his good reputation as a Shark by turning in mediocre performances just before he retires.

Agree 100%

If only we had some-one like Sully back when he was our alternate ball playing forward we would have won several comps IMO.
