To Penrith?

...No, he's horrible. But it's not his fault, he has never fully recovered from that injury in 2004. He also doesn't seem to try anymore, maybe that's just him being unhappy in England, but he really doesn't look interested when he plays. If you're looking at Wigan outside backs, Pat Richards isn't happy over there and the club want to offload him, he'd be a much better buy than Vaealiki.

Seems to have shown less at Wigan than he was at Parramatta a few years ago.

As to incentives, your call... but it's a big drop from the money he's on now in pounds down to incentives.

If he were to come home on an incentive based contract, would he be worth it?

$2 a year

deadset one of the worst players to jump ship to the ESL in the last 5 years. I'm possitive Wigan would love to get him out...

Any player is worth it under the right terms. If the terms of the deal were: "If you can make first grade and aren't completely sh*t we'll pay you a couple of hundred bucks" that would be a fair enough deal. The problem is would a player like him accept an incentive based deal? If Wigan did get rid of him he'd probably pick up a contract with a weak English club worth more than an incentive deal in the NRL anyway.

Vaealiki is supposedly on more at Wigan than Jamie Lyon is at Saints. So I doubt he'd accept an incentive based deal,no.

Christ no wonder Lyon is off to Manly . Pound for pound that's like comparing Muhammed Ali to "Aussie Joe " .

Plenty of SL flops have easily slotted back ino the NRL in the past 5 years so it's not all bad for DV.

Tonie Carroll?

Well the ones that have successfully come back haven't had injuries like Vaealiki. He'd make a good buy for the QLD cup though.

He's not listed my old yearbook amongst the players that played Superleague from 1996-2004...

Campion actually signed for Warrington but I think had a change of heart when he sampled a good old British Autumn during WC 2000 . What a wuss . I have to endure Autumns AND Winters and I don't get paid thousands for the privelege .

I've been told Vaealiki is going to Harlequins for the rest of the season on loan.
Really mustn't be wanted at Wigan then, Harlequins are higher on the table...
