Just got out of the cinema. Awesome movie! Andy Serkis is a dead set gun of an actor. His portrayal of Caesar was tremendous (Oscar?). Speaking of gun actors. Gary Oldman was criminally underutilised imo. Wasn't given much to work with, but did a fine job where he could. Much the same as Cranston in Godzilla.
If you enjoyed rise, you should love Dawn.

I saw the first one and loved it, I'm hoping to see the new film nextweek. As for Gary Oldman what an actor the way he potrayed Oswald in the film JFK was genius.

Reviews for this are remarkable. Really keen to check it out either here before I leave, or in Oz when I get home.

Saw it last weekend and loved it.
I really liked the first movie, but this one tops it easily.
Probably the best movie I've seen so far this year.

And yes, Andy Serkis is brilliant in this.

Saw it recently, very good movie.

Also check out the short videos online going over the vents between this movie and the previous.
A lot of high quality effort went into this reboot.

Watched it last night. Fecking awesome.

You think a bunch of talking apes, it's going to look ridiculous. But it didn't seem unnatural in the slightest.

And this is hands down my favourite part of the movie:
