So we have the form halfback of the 20's now showing the club he can play with the big boys.

We have J Morris and now De Gois as our rakes.

I'm just trying to figure out where Robson fits in?

Back up half/3rd choice hooker? Surely to god he won't be first choice half.

By the way im happy with the signing after watching yesterdays game

well

robson fits because id say smith and porter wont be at the sharks next year.

he is a serviceable back up that can fill in the halves and hooker.

he's also played in a grand final and has first grade experience.

thats what i think he brings to the team.

So in other words a recruit for reggies?

I like him too, but I have to look in the mirror and be brutaly honest here.

I also put my hand up for Corey Hughes.

Hope this hand up goes better than that hand up.

he will push for the starting gig in the off season.

id say townsend will get it.

but he's an upgrade on smith and you need depth. so yeah..reggies. but he will play in first grade next year in a couple of positions i would say.

gotta have the depth guys.

Morris has been really good for us this year and if he keeps his form, I don't think he deserves to be punted to the bench.

De Gois to come of the bench I reckon and play around 40 minutes.
Morris can play in the back row at stages of the game.

As long as Degwa doesn't keep getting swatted off like a tsetse fly, he might be Ok to average.

The more I think about it the more excited I am. Gonna love seeing him in the colours again.

I love the Degwah of old, but I think his signing is a long term backward step. We need new younger players to bring through, his signing sends a message to young fringe players looking for a run 'look else where'. Think about this team , how well it would go without Degwah and Robson, how well it could go with a Sharma and a Chad and even a Kelly. We have to stop wasteing money on the 'instant fix' we need to build a team that can go for 5 or 6 seasons. Just remember how critical it will be in 3 or 4 years from now with the development being built.
