I think Simpson will be in some strife. I know that he and the ref both found themselves in the same place at the same time, but Simpson shoved him out of the way. Bad move.

Carol has got no case to answer imo.

LOL...doubt it, they both veered in the same direction at the same time....simpson running flat out, pure accident but how many more ref collisions have we seen since two clowns have been on at once

Tony De Las Heras has been knocked out cold in the Broncos v Souths game. Doesn't look good for him, Jamie Simpson crashed over him then Tonie Carroll's knee collected him. Refs cop a lot of sh*t obviously but I hope he's ok.

Well said. I didnt notice the knee at first and thought it was funny, but not seeing the guy move had me worried. Then they showed the replay. That is without doubt the worst blow to the head I have ever seen on a football field. I sincerely hope the bloke is allright.

indeed. dog act, suncorp crowd!

p*ss off. You clearly were not there.

Most of the crowd, myself included, went up cheering when Simpson knocked him out of the way. Nothing in it, and because we were following the play, most didn't see what happened with TC.

The cheering or laughing pretty much completely stopped when a replay was shown, and everyone was silent until we clapped the ref off.

For one moment, the crowd was completely united. Everyone went up as one, better than the mexican wave that went round about 10 times in the Titans match afterwards.

Don't know about the silent part, lot of people still laughing & carrying on until he was wheeled off ...

Didn't watch the game, saw the youtube clip. Was De Las Heras replaced by another referee or did Badger continue by himself for the rest of the game?

Another ref came out, I'm pretty sure Badger was control ref for the last 15 mins though.

To the person who said it was a disgrace that half the crowd walked out before the second game, what do you expect? It's the Broncos' home venue, and in a double header they played the first game? Who made that stupid f**king decision?

That is an extremely good point.

What idiot thought it would be better to have the big game first?
