John Lang doesn't play mind games. He's not that kind of coach.
He's too honest for his own good.

I saw Presto at training on Tuesday and Thursday, and both days when he
walked to his car after training, he still had an icepack on the groin (you
could see it sticking out of the leg of his shorts), and he was limping a little,
so it is genuinely still causing him trouble.

When I asked him how he was, and did he think he would play, he said
"It's ok, I'm pretty sure I'll be right".

So no-one is bluffing anyone, and anything could happen. He's nursing it along,
and all we can do is keep our fingers crossed that he holds up, and doesn't
cause himself any more injury that could keep him from playing with top
fitness for the start of the regular season.

That's the joys of living only 15 minutes away from Penrith Stadium pepstar.

Maybe you should think about moving a little closer?

Pepstar, you wouldn't want to be called a groupie would you?
I'll be seeing your lad son Sat when they come for a fan day at Bradford's fan day, I'll be sure to get some photos and post them up here for you guys to see.

When will the official team line up for this game be released? I believe the Panthers will have a tough match on their hands, but will prevail.

BTW-I hope Aaron Barba gets a run, he is an excitement machine. ;-)

I think the team will look something like this:
Wesser
Howland
Lewis
Whatuira
Rooney
Campbell
Gower
Lang
Priddis
Clinton
Galuvao
Puletua
Swain
--------------
Ross
Waterhouse
Ward
Rodney / Galea

Still looks very imposing, and I think we are capable of winning... just a matter of whether we are able to climatize. The Bulls will put up a very good fight.

Madunit we probably won't see the official line-up until a few days before they play like the norm.

But it's pretty much the same line up as to the G/F minus Satts and Girds. Swain or Rodney for lock, the other on bench. Ward comes in to Bench. I reckon Howland has come in to replace Lewis on the Wings and Lewis will take over Girds spot as Left Centre pairing with Roons. It is how Lang usually plays them when Girds is out.

So no possibility of Barba getting a run? He is a try scoring freak! He'd be awesome off the bench.

Nah, Barba will be starting off with the Cougars. It's a big leap from the QRL to the NRL, and first division will be a good stepping stone. A few of us caught up with him at the sevens, and it looks like he will play in the halves.

But if he does get a chance with the Panthers this year (I'm hoping that he will), he will probably play on the wing.

Fair enough then. I just think his evasiveness and unbelievable pace would be a great asset to have coming off the bench. Imagine having Campbell, Wesser, Lewis and Barba all on the field at once-that's gotta be 4 of the fastest players in league there.

Yeah sweet Madunit, but i think his defence is a little sus at moment and something they are working on. It won't take long because they have worked on Campbell's, Wesser's, Rooneys, Howlands & Whatuira's defence and they have all stepped up in that area well. Also Howland is a speedster as well and we have had those players on the field at one time minus Barba.

True. I just think that Barba is something very special. He's a naturally gifted athlete. I'd love to see him make the big time, and not become a Joven Clarke.

I honestly feel that Barba will be playing First Grade at some point this year.
