So who is going to be taking all these flights and hotel rooms. Seeing as it will be an all Victorian AFL GF, I hardly think that all flights are gone and doubt that many hotel rooms gone too.

Fail.
True.

It might be a bit busier than normal but at least you'll be guaranteed a ticket to get in The Storm Game :(

The warning is to both Brisbane and Dragons fans (who ever wins) that you will have to come down on AFL Grand Final weekend. A weekend where all flights are already booked, a weekend where the closest accommodation is Albury.

To those who had only a fleeting experience of an AFL Grand final week will understand that irrespective of who the Storm are playing - you only way to get to this city is by car and expect to sleep in it as well.

What this means for the Storm is that we will get a hoard of people spilling over from the AFL GF who will all cheer for the Storm.

I also means that there will only be 100 max supporters for either the Broncos or Dragons - and the crowd plays a big part in finals football.

The poor team that comes down will be 10 points down before they walk onto the park.

mmmm, just had a quick look at wotif.com for accommodation on Saturday September 26th & of roughly 360 hotels, motels, etc there are only 50 unavailable.

As a further note if you can come down and want to experience and AFL GF (you should see one in your life and still scratch your head on why people bother to watch the crap) but since the AFL will be an all Victorian team scenario the only way you will get tickets to the AFL GF will be if you buy them interstate.

Fair call....

What I expect is a horde of people going over to the MCG thinking that the Wallabies are playing...
