Aside from the Sharks, who've never won one, the only clubs with a longer dry spell are Souths and the Dragons. Well Souths aren't travelling too well at the moment but they're making changes and going after good players. And we all know what the Dragons have got planned from next year onwards.
Our playbook is looking very empty at the moment...

we're almost at that 18 month point Mark....almost halfway through his second season, and, IMO, he aint up to it, we're going backwards.

Indeed we are, and my Opinion is still being shaped, but on performance and recruitment, it isn't looking good now is it?

I don't think it is the playing roster that is the problem. Our trainers don't know how to properly train forwards. Buying a decent forward for next year would just see them slide into mediocrity...

I managed to steal it after the game. It has two pages, and says this;

IN OUR HALF
Play 1-Dummy half run
Play 2-Dummy half run
Play 3-One out hitup
Play 4-One out hitup
Play 5-Kick. Never mind where, just kick

IN THEIR HALF
Play 1-Inside ball
Play 2-Inside ball
Play 3-Haven't you dropped it yet? Oh well, inside ball
Play 4-Jeez, we're doing well now. Inside ball
Play 5-Wait...we got to the fifth? Oh sh*t, do something quick! Bomb

I think we have the players but we're simply poorly coached. If Smith can get what he has out of a pretty poor Knights outfit and Bennett can turn Sims and Wallace into good players then i believe a decent coach could turn our squad into something extremely competitive. I think we look poorly coached, poorly disciplined and extremely unfit. That all comes back to the coaching staff for mine.

I have given it to MITS, but he does not deserve this. The creator of this thread is misguided, MITS and Stagger are not Fitzy fans from what I can recall. They have both in the past stated that he has been here too long. If anything MITS and Stagger are maybe a tad more tolerant and patient then the average psycho like me. That is their only crime.

Thats exactly how we play....happens when you have a lock as a 5/8.

TBH I've found our retention and recruitment policy a little puzzling at times.

is it the coach though? when smith was coach here we lost plenty of games especially tight ones now he is in newy and going ok and we are going backwards with a new coach but the same players is it the coaching staff? is it fitzy sticking his nose into the team? training methods? its something that was here when he was and its still here now

It happens 2-3 times a year.
