Hopefully this is taken the right way... AS A JOKE!!!

I will be there on Saturday to continue to support them, just like I know the rest of you will as well (that is if you can make it). I'm not turning my back on them, just hoping for the best for the rest of the season in that they will do enough to avoid the spoon again.

I knew it was a joke Rhino......cause I know how your mind works.

You know that I will be there, as always, assuming that we have a chance for a win (as I always do).

Whether or not the team can deliver.....who knows ?

But I still say if we fans survived the early 90's, 2001 and 2002, then we can survive anything.

And we can still say that we won 2 premierships and the minor premiership within 12 years, and there still isn't too many other teams out there that can say the same.

I'm hanging in there, always have always will, and even if we were to sadly get another wooden spoon, so be it, I will still look forward to next season as much as ever.

Bloody glutton for punishment aren't I ?

Fibroman and I have been drinking to their demise for a few years now as our livers can surely attest.

Funnily enough I received a text message from him on saturday evening asking if I had any rope?

I am only too well aware Fibroman is not into abselling so I am concerned about the fact I have not been able to contact him since the Warriors game.

He'll be fine. He's probably doing some intensive one on one with the slotties and will be back in fine form on the hill for the resurrection where he will discard the Teddies for some golden bitch frizz.

I don't know I've always been the one amongst my group of friends/supporters who can sit back and look at things a bit objectively. But this season I've been prone to uncontrolled out bursts of anger while watching the panthers. It's simply been the most frustrating season I've ever exeprienced as a supporter.

Hey, don't get me wrong. I never said that I don't get angry.

Ask the lot that sit with me, I can yell abuse at the ref and the players with the best of them when they are playing like crap.

But each week I survive it, and each week I manage to get over it and turn up again the next week.

There's been plenty of times that I have said the team doesn't deserve to have us show up when they're playing like they don't want to be there, but there I am again the next week, and will be till I'm dead.

Like I said.......a glutton for punishment.

But no matter how bad the team is, I have never seriously considered not turning up to a match, cause I don't want to be sitting at home watching on TV when they finally turn the corner and start playing well again.

Footy......it's bloody addictive ain't it ???

9 wins will get youse into the 8.

This side is so unpredictable, they could actually spook everyone and manage it.
