He’s the buy of the season. When I met him and listened to him relate to others, he’s confident, but he’s not big headed.

He sucked in all the stories and listened.

Some of our vets, you could see that the previous seasons had taken their toll.

Others like kit, building their profile and really enjoying the fans. Laughing at lot, in the moment. Birdy and Royce were the same.

I didn’t expect the players to seem to have as good a time as the fans, but that’s the overall impression I got.

I said it earlier, but it’s strange to me that some players have the gift and some don’t. And you can’t tell from physique.
