Tommax25,

You're obviously bored, do you get some kind of kick out of feeding the annoying c***?

As I said to Timmah, every post he makes makes him look more like an idiot, and yes, I do get a kick out of that, so I will continue feeding him until the end of time.

he is not board he has no life and is embarrased

I thought that was you after all the contradictions and dodging, dodger?

, he has nothing after saying "you can't win a title with a rookie centre" then i laughed because if you can win it with a rookie half like manly just did you can with a rookie centre. the answer he has is a centre a half? lol seriously? that says enough.

Dodger Logic for Conversational Winning activated:

Bro, doggiesbro, come on man. You can’t do the maths so I’ll help you lol halfback is one position, centre is two positions. If you have experienced centres you have two experienced players. If you have an experienced halfback you have one experience player. Two is greater than one so of course you can’t win with an inexperienced centre LOL Next you’ll tell me you need an experienced fullback more than experienced wingers LOL

Dodger Logic for Conversational Winning terminated:

You’re a genius.

then he goes on saying that gallen and jeremy smith aren't better then stewart LOL. classic.

Again, did I?

oh and stewart is better then gallen!

And my response?

I wouldn't have gone quite so far myself, very bold of you Dodge, but its not insane. Stewart did very well this year. Very well. So did Gallen though, quite close.

Oh, and yes, Stewart is better than Smith.

he also says that you can't consider morris selected for australia because he hasn't played a game yet, although he will consider farah a aus rep yet he is yet to play for aus.

I don’t consider Morris an Australian standard player despite his late, late, late call up to the squad, which you seem to take as proof that he is. I consider Farah an Australian standard player because he got selected when all other hookers were available, including Ennis who you say is better because he is selected for NSW over him. Well Farah got selected for Australia over Ennis, so who is better? You’ll have no answer I’m guessing., except maybe chants of “Morris ’09! Morris ’09!” again

That’s the difference between brain dead reasoning and rational reasoning. I can back up my points, whereas you can only back up a toilet with the torrents of shit you spew.

lol i think he is still trying to work out how to get the square shape through the circle hole.

I think you were trying to work out what to pull over your head in the morning, got confused and pulled on a plastic bag instead of a shirt, depriving yourself of oxygen and giving yourself brain damage. Morris ’09! Morris ’09! Signing a coach is better than winning the comp woooo!!! Doggies ’13! Doggies ’13!

Oh noes, I nearly forgot LOL@you. Can’t forget that, because you’re so thick you might not realize I just destroyed you so LOL@you.

How do you come up with such bullshit, morris isn't considered selected because he was a late call up. Yet farah is yet he has played 0 games this year like morris. lol nice logic, also the fact ennis has just started his training again after months off. lol good one gumbie. again his coach is the same coach of australia.

as for the rest you just dribble crap, can't win a title with a rookie centre oh wait manly did with a halfback oh yeh but rookie centres are worse. because there is two centres LOL. hardly call morris a rookie and that is the worst attempt to cover your ass i've seen though from a poita like urself im not surpised you have no idea how to cover ur ass.

in 09 I was very vocal about Ennis being better than farah.

in 2012 I hope to see Josh Reynolds come off the interchange bench and spark the Dogs from Hooker.

ftr I would take Ballin before Ennis & Farah.

I would prefer Farah to Ennis.

Hardly fair to judge Ennis when he's missed so much time through injury.

He was solid and dependable in Origin 2 this year IMO

The only thing I don't like about Ennis, is his brain-snaps.

Origin last year when he kicked unnecessarily on 3rd or 4th was an extreme brainsnap.

Personally I would rather Ennis over Ballin, but thats my opinion.

IMO if Ennis can mature as a player and iron out those brain-snaps he will be one step closer to Cameron smith.

lol dont say that, you can't disagree. you will be fought with constantly for disagreeing.

I will concede any and every point I have made if you answer with something that reasonably shows my position is wrong. Not only do you not do that :)lol:) you don't even respond to particular points at all when you know you have nothing to say :)lol::lol:). Until then LOL@you.

We've been over this Dodger (but you didn't respond, true to your name). How are the doggiesbrah the good guys exactly? Rorted the cap for years, dragged the games name through the mud with the rape scandal (whether anything happened is another story), and won a comp with the benefit of an illegally assembled squad. Good guys?

Not bad per se is also the fact that oveer the past 3-4 years they've signed tons of players (and now a coach, which is better than wining a Premiership, right ). I would hardly say they are the good guys of the comp by any stretch.

New details of Des Hasler’s 2011 switch to the Bulldogs conflict with previous statements from the club

May 14, 2014 12:00AM

Story by Josh Massoud

PRIVATE communiqués of Canterbury’s secret bid to steal Des Hasler from Manly in 2011 have emerged, conflicting with public statements from ex-Bulldogs CEO Todd Greenberg later that year.

Despite Greenberg maintaining all negotiations were focused on appointing Hasler for 2013, The Daily Telegraph has sighted correspondence that betrays Canterbury’s desire to install the premiership-winning coach at Belmore 12 months earlier.

The correspondence also reveals the Bulldogs were prepared to consider indemnifying Hasler against any legal action from Manly, which claimed the former Sea Eagles star had a binding contract to remain at Brookvale in 2012. After Manly terminated Hasler in November 2011, Greenberg publicly dismissed suggestions of coercion.

The latest revelations come as Greenberg, now NRL head of football operations, faces an Integrity Unit probe over his recollection of being shown a betting ledger detailing football wagers of late prop Ryan Tandy at a meeting in August 2010.

Greenberg has categorically denied being presented with the ledger by former racing reporter John Schell, who swore otherwise in a police statement and court testimony that were tendered into evidence during Tandy’s NSW Local Court trial in September 2011.

Then in charge of the Bulldogs, Greenberg started to pursue Hasler a month earlier, according to correspondence contained in a documentary time line assembled by Sea Eagles.

The correspondence asserts Hasler received a letter of offer from Canterbury on August 15 2011, which detailed a four-year deal worth $3.5 million. The nominated start date at the Bulldogs was 1 November 2011.

On 26 August, Hasler again received a letter of offer. This time, however, the correspondence included three additional assurances from the Bulldogs.

Hasler was told they read:

“1. Letter of Offer is valid and binding assuming exist (sic) from Manly at end of 2011 season is achieved.

“2. Bulldogs may elect to indemnify you should the option matter reach litigious position, at their discretion.

“3. Should the Bulldogs decide not to indemnify if they feel risk factors are too great, then the Letter of Offer will automatically revert to a start date of season 2013 to 2016 inclusive.

“Todd would like to have the letter of offer with the above variation signed on Saturday (27 August) this weekend.”

Although it detailed Greenberg’s position, the correspondence quoted from above was sent to Hasler by a third party who was acting on Hasler’s behalf at the time.

However, the correspondence clearly indicates Canterbury’s desire to bring Hasler on board for the 2012 pre-season. It also suggests the club’s willingness to consider indemnifying the prized coach in the event of Manly taking legal action, with Sea Eagles officials adamant that Hasler has previously exercised an option to remain on the Northern Beaches in 2012.

Furthermore, on the very same day he received notice of the second letter of offer, Hasler told Manly chairman Scott Penn of his intention to quit the club at the end of 2011.

Correspondence from Hasler to Penn on 26 August states: “Whilst it would be easy for us to be emotional given my long playing and coaching days at the club, I would rather that all move forward from our discussion and enjoy the successes that we have had. In this respect I formally advise you that I will conclude my employment at the end of this 2011 season.”

But when Manly terminated Hasler’s contract in November, clearing the way for Hasler to join Canterbury straight away, Greenberg gave several public assurances that the Bulldogs were always working toward the following season.

On 15 November, he told The Daily Telegraph: “No, to be fair, every discussion we’ve had was about 2013 ... Our plans were well and truly in place.”

On 22 March 2012 he participated in an interview with Daily Telegraph reporter Dean Ritchie on Channel Ten’s Game Plan show, which focused heavily on the Hasler negotiations.

When asked if he commenced negotiations while Hasler was still under contract at Manly, Greenberg replied: “I have answered this question before but I am happy to answer it again. The answer is no. All our plans were for 2013 and beyond.”

Greenberg also addressed speculation of Hasler being induced or coerced to breach his contract with Manly. On 12 November he told Triple M: “We are not in the business of coercing people out of their contracts or out of their arrangements.”
Hmmm...

Sounds like the offer was for 2013 and there were clauses in case Des wanted it to be 2012.

I don't see any coercion... just good corporate nous.
