I am level 26 now. I could easily upgrade my legendary armour if I just had some goddamn ascendants shards. They seem to be very hard to find.

The only ones I have come from swooping up the little triangle things after boss fights.

I have only seen them in a community event and dismantling legendary armour and also the occasional gift

You can get them busy running the Dailey on level 26 or 28 plus out of legendary engrams I believe.

Daily heroic story will give you ascendant shards or energy, one for doing the level twenty six and two for doing the level twenty eight. You can also get ten as a possible reward for completing the weekly nightfall strike.

You gotta be a level or 2 above the heroic story to not get slaughtered. So I cant really do the level 26 ones yet. I could probably do it, but it would take a while.

Contemplating buying the pulse rifle Xür has for sale, would eat up all my strange coins though, is it worth it?

Don't want to buy an exotic piece of armour just yet because only gauntlets are available this week for Warlocks.

Just completed my exotic bounty and got the Bad Juju pulse rifle, absolute rubbish.

I'll just stick to my exotic handgun.

And 3 times today I got near the end of the daily heroic story attempting to get ascendants shards and 3 times the game just drops out. Surely this is an issue for all players and needs to be rectified. Its so annoying.

Just logged on to Destiny to find the Queen's missions gone and a new, Iron Banner, competition on which involves the Crucible.

Yeah, the iron banner is a bit disappointing. It was supposed to be based on your level - the higher the better, the best gear would make someone harder to kill.

Yet there are level 5 guys running around destroying level 30s.

If anyone wants to do a raid, let me know.

The way they advertised the iron banner was pretty misleading. All along they've said level advantages are enabled, which isn't completely false, how ever it's only effect up to 7 levels. So a level 30 would see no difference in squaring off against a level 4 and a level 23.

I would love to team up with someone for a raid or weekly heroic strike, I run around the tower asking randoms to join a fire team but no one does so I can't do the higher level raids or nightfall strike.

Currently level 27. Xbox one.

I tried to access that crucible thing but couldn't get on. Do you have to subscribe to something? Become a member?

I'm level 8 but have nfi what I'm doing. never been a gamer so not very clued up

You have to have Xbox live gold or PSN+ to access any multiplayer content in Destiny.
