We are still a way off next year and we are looking at a re-building year already. No signings at no prospect off there being any.Top level players leaving
I felt positive at Goulds appointment. But it appears clear he has been brought in mearly as a hatchet man to clean out the club. But what shell off a club will be left. And how long will it take to even get back to being competitive. There are only a few rounds left .Time to look to the future give guys like moylan austin a run and maybe last round run Tia kilifi off the bench

side for next week
1. moylan
2.walker
3.jennings
4.vai vai
6.austin
7.siejka
8.petero
9.kingston
10.mc kendry
11.waterhouse
12.plum
13.lewis
14.grant
15.setini
16weston
17.blacket

the current side has to many underachievers time to take chances at least give us some hope

Walsh and Burns are here for the next 2 seasons. That is a huge problem we face.

They are on too much $$$ to be playing NSW Cup but we can't win a title with these 2 in the halves.

We probably need to find the money to pay 1 or both of them.

Burns i can live with.He at least has that mongrell in him .And can play several positions. But walsh is limited to playing half and refuses to run the ball.My real concern is there has been no signings putting the club on the back foot before a ball next year is even kicked

I hold Burns solely responsible for the lack of ball Jennings gets. That imo is unforgivable he must go!!

Burns has been great for us this year, he's just not a talented 5/8. There have been several occasions where that bit of extra mongrel and energy has been what won us the game. He can provide that from lock still.

Which is more then you can say for the likes of Walsh, Purtell and Tighe. I don't see any of them having any redeeming qualities. Simmons is also very average but atleast had some good form on the wing early. But I feel he needs to go also.

1, 6, 7 & 9. Until we address these areas nothing will change. 2012 will be no different if the incumbents in these positions remain.

I thought princess Simmons and Purts were great for us yesterday.

The loss of Purts will hurt us next year and Simmons really needs to get his hands on the ball alot more.

I would suggest we give Simmons a run at 5/8. He could do some real damage in the number 6.

i would suggest investing in a glue company and covering purtell and simmons hands with glue.then and only then will they catch the ball.if that fails we could at least send them to the glue factory and get a refund on them

MX, I would take Burns over Kingston at hooker. Just never ever to wear 6.

Put Austin in the backrow. We still need a few props decent 1st graders

I think at full strength we're fine for props next season. Move Nigel Plum into the front row and have a rotation of Grant, McKendry, Weston and Plum. I don't think we'd be much worse off then this years rotation with that.

The trouble is that leaves a hole in the second row, especially when you already have Waterhouse leaving opening up a spot. Moving Burns to lock would help cover one of the second row spots and it means you don't have to drop him to move Coote to the halves.

But the other second row spot will be much harder to fill with the likes of Masada Iosefa, Jesse Sene-Lefao and Sarafu Fatiaki probably being the best options. I would like to see what Austin has to offer aswell, could probably jump ahead of those in the pecking order pretty quickly. Picking up a decent second rower would be huge for us.

Plum could handle prop. Would a backrow of Austin, Lewis, Burns with Smith as an interchange be up to it pshyically?? Sure would have plenty of attack. Some off season weights & it could be a goer

Iosefa might be able to handle playing lock? He is a strong runner of the ball and hits pretty hard in defence?

on the jersey front for next year .I am not normally a fan of more jerseys .But would like to see us have a aboriginal design jersey. While its great to support charitys this jersey at least supports a community within our boundarys .
With many still in the ranks and coming through there would be flow through benifits

That side might get beat considering you have only one winger picked and only 16 players in total on fire .....glad your not the coach.,
