I just want to know why DOGS fans haven't cried foul over Patten grounding the ball with his forehead and being awarded a try?

Geez ur having no luck.
Weyman out for 6, Scott out for 6, Jeremy Smith POSSIBLE season.
ON A PLATTER as it has been all yr, surely u cant f**k this comp up?
Yeah, we really have power over the Dragons injury woes. We are really getting the season handed to us on a platter because your teams injuries  how about Ben Hannant and Jamal Idris?

Crying foul over patten grounding the ball? Show me evidence that he dropped it then come back to me. Plus there was no evidence that Aaron Payne's attempt touched the chalk. Yet we STILL won

Why would we cry foul over our own team being awarded a try? :?

i can't say that I've seen any evidence that Patten's wasn't a try. Sure he ended up grounding it with his forehead, but his hands were on the ball, then the ball was on the ground, then the ball was under his head .... but I didn't see any still or moving picture showing separation between the ball and his hands before the ball touched the ground.

Still, the look on his face was priceless when they actually awarded the try.

The dragons would have been dudeed in the bulldogs game

1-Hornby try was a try been disallowed by the on field ref
2- Idris first try was a knock on, hannant and idris rolled the ball forward onto the line
no try but given a try by the on field ref

the on field refs kept the dogs in that game, the dragons were robbed of 12 points

6 to the dragons and 6 off the dogs

the idris try against the knights wasnt a try, the ball was moving and he had no pressure on it

Stupidest thing I have ever read!!

BF, can I ask why the away jersey? Just out of interest...?

No reason in particular dude. I love both jerseys, but the blue in away jersey just seems to strike out at me a bit more and jump at me, and because it's my favorite colour, it helps out a lot.

I believe he lost control and only grounded it with his head.

As far as I understand, that's not a good reason at all. You do not need to retain control of the ball in order to score a try. You only need to retain contact with the ball until the ball contacts the ground.

Bet you guys would have a different opinion if it was the Dragons and not the Dogs! ;-) He lost control of that ball (didn't ground it with his hands) and grounded it with his head.
