Just watched an interview on NZ TV show seven sharp with Gal and Toddy Carney..

Im embarrassed as a kiwi that those boys had to be put through that...

I thought that was a good interview...sports journalists are pissants who ask the boring expected questions during the day and shoot their arrows from their desks at night. I mean, this wasn't hardline questioning, but at least they asked something a little out of the norm.

As a kiwi I'm pretty embarrassed by this interview.

All this stuff happened years ago and the way they just said "I googled this today" was terribly amateurish. It's not what the interview was for clearly as they were wearing Auckland Nines t-shirts.

The show is widely panned by the New Zealand public. Terrible embarassing

I thought it was a good interview too & the guys did well.

What was most irritating was not th questions but how they were asked - with a KeeWee icksent

Geez you KeeWeez get embarrassed easily. That interview is just a bit of slap and tickle and I'd bet anything you like Gallen and Carney knew what was coming. They had a laugh, didn't get upset, didn't react at all.

They knew for sure what was going to come up. Probably approved it

Come on mate it was a load of rubbish. Bringing up ancient history after they googled it that day is completely amateurish.

It could be the fact we see the same muppet hosts on the TV all the time which made it more cringeworthy, considering they obviously knew nothing about league.

No big deal really but as a "keewee" Sharks supporter I thought it was awkward...
