Ray Hardly on radio today spoke of a bitter division between the players caused by the Jack De Belin situation.
Paraphrasing his points were.
One group is backing JB uphill and down dale the other group won't even speak to him.
This has put some players on non speaking terms with each.
The team is not playing as an united team.
Some wives and girl friends are stirring the pot.
If you combined the talents of Jack Gibson, Bennett, Bellamy etc they would not be able to sort out the mess.
Don't expect Bennett to come and be able to sort out the situation.
Players will need to be moved on to fix the mess.
A new coach would face the same crisis.
This situation is none of McGregor's doing.

If this is true we have a long road ahead before things begin to improve. No wonder players don't want to come to the club and others want to leave.

There have been rumours about Friz and JBD for some time. Regardless of how much truth there is in the ‘two sides’ story, JBD, irrespective of the result of his case, probably needs to pursue his career elsewhere.

The JDB saga will only cause more and more unrest with the players who are either backing him and those ignoring him. This no doubt will continue until his case is finalised in court. The unrest has been since the start of last year as we know and I've said it before his presence at training just does not help the situation one bit.

Our problems overall are in the too hard basket - poor coaching, non performing players, useless Board, no players wanting to come to the club, players wanting to leave, other coaches not keen. The sinking ship is getting closer to the bottom of the bay and there are no rescuers nearby to help.

Sounds like a piss poor excuse for losing games if you ask me.

“my friend likes this guy that I don’t like so I’m deliberately going to be a shit merkin on the field”

how old are these stupid merkins? Grow the f**k up you useless heartless merkins
It's anything but a childish issue.

It's a complex situation, with no simple answer on how the Dragons best manage it.

Grow up.

By including DeBelin in the playing roster and hanging desperately on the hope of a positive court outcome, McGregor is the main cause of the split.

Grow up? Me? Really?

they are a professional sports team full of different players with different personalities. Yes, people clash, not all people get along...but at the end of the day, their job is to play football, and do it competently...

And I’m the one that needs to grow up?

The JDB saga is already over a year old.
By the time it is resolved it will have been 2 years of uncertainty and division.
No coach other than McGregor would have managed this situation the way it has panned out.
What's worse, McGregor has had the bare faced effrontery to use it as an excuse at various stages.

Not discounting their job is to play footy. Big issue though is this.

the dragons can lose every game for the next 20 years with McTeflon as coach and both him and the club will continue to blame JDB for all their losses.
