It matters because Origin was founded on different grounds. It is not like a club competition where you can be born and raised in one place but play for another. It's representative footy...

Exactly. The reason we play Origin is because the Queenslanders made a massive deal about NSW sides "stacked full of queenslanders" beating them. Stupid thing is that in the last interstate game before Origin was born - game 2 1980, only 2 Queenlsanders played - John Lang and Kerry Boustead. Qld lost that game, but the 2 swap sides and suddenly they find passion for the jersey :lol:

Oh, and regarding Tamou - he was at Matraville High and playing for Paddington when he was 13. Inglis played senior footy in a Knights jumper at 16 you fruitcakes!
