Do Parra fans want Moses

Scrap the cap

Only the strong should survive and the real fans should support their team win, lose or draw.

It happens in the EPL.

And the EPL is the most boring soccer league in the world.

But regardless, in England you can play in the next level down (the Championship) and make money.

I think we need a cap, but when you set the cap very much below the capacity to pay of several of the teams, you get cheating.

Are you insinuating that certain teams get to pay their players more money? Why have a salary cap then?

I used to like it. I actually prefer to watch the Championship. Much more tribal, fewer wankers.

yeh, but every year they interchange a few teams so there isn't a lot of difference between the bottom half and championship teams

good to see teams like Burnley get a run in the EPL and next year maybe Brighton

What I'm saying is that if the cap is closer to capacity to pay, then the incentive to cheat the cap becomes much smaller. It's pretty simple economics.

But then those teams pay up to the new salary cap and then do the same thing all over again.

Simple economics ?

YOU REALLY THINK THEY RUN OUT OF MONEY?

Yeh, I know, but in the Championship you get to see big clubs like Newcaste Utd play Burton Albion or Rotherham. And the loan market can make a huge difference to a team's fortunes.

Yes of course they run out of money at some point. You can't actually just losing money hand over fist for year upon year. Someone is paying.

When you set the cap well below what some teams can afford to pay, they cheat.
