Half Man I think that as long as you keep it well trimmed and neat, then you should be alright. However from a girl's point of view, no big sideburns, they are gross.

I can't talk for all girls but I will put this opinion in anyway, the rugged look is better than the moustache any day.

Facial hair is awesome fo sho. I am no great grower of it but a while back I was looking pretty rugged. Then I decided to shave it back to a classy (well, not at all) goatee which really is just some fluff. I have had sideburns on and off for about the last 2 years, but luckily or unluckily enough I don't have what it takes to grow big full-on lamb chops. A moustache would be tight, I mean ALL the rappers have had them so they must be good. Obviously.

I've had mixed experiences with this in the past. Some girls liked it, some dont. Its a 50-50 thing. I've got a goatee at the moment though, it's gully.

I couldn't shave twice a day like CH though. My face would break out in splotches. Damn shaving irritation n shit.

Beards a hella cool. I just shaved mine off, but am probably gunna grow it back. Otherwise I might just go with the chops which are good also.

I only shave it when theres some occasinon on, otherwise I dont bother cos its a pain in the ass. It can grow for weeks on end without me doing anything to it.

Full beard and mo. Is the only way to go. The missus loves it and I'm banned from shaving. This makes me extremely happy. But to get to this stage, I had to shave every day.
