Do you agree - Cowboys quartet form NRL's most dangerous spine?

Do you agree with the article that the Cowboys have the best spine in the NRL?

Now I'm not saying they're hopeless because they are by no means, but this seems like typical QLD newspaper propaganda

Most NRL teams have a good spine so it's hard to pin-point who is the best, but I don't think it's the Cowboys. For instance, I would much rather a team that has Inglis, Sutton, Reynolds and Luke over JT and his no-names (yes I just said that).

Regardless of my opinion, do you agree that the Cowboys have the best spine in the NRL?

I also disagree.

It used to be the Storm for so many years, but their spine is well past it's best now. It's hard to nominate another standout tbh.

DCE, Foran, Stewart and Ballin are still right up there.
Cronk, Smith, Slater and #6 are always a threat but Slater seems to be busted even more often than Stewart these days.
Inglis, Reynolds, Keary and Luke are certainly amongst it.
Cowboys have a good spine and it could well be the best (if there was a way to actually quantify it) but it's pretty close between several sides.

They're going good, but it's hard to judge then until we get to the finals and see how the perform in the pressure games. As for being standouts, I think their are several spines who are just as good if not better;
Might be biased but I wouldn't swap souths spine for anyone else's, Inglis, keary, reynolds and luke are great
Roosters;
hate to admit it, but they are up there to, they manage to make pearce work well for them. Rts, maloney, pearce, friend
Broncos;
are better then I expected them to be. Boyd, milford, hunt, mccollough
Eagles;
doesn't help that they have no forwards at the moment, but it's still one of the best spines. Stewart, Foran, DCE, Ballin
dragons;
Out of form now, but it wasn't long ago that they were the inform spine. Dugan, widdop, marshall, rein

and one for the future
warriors;
On paper this could be one of the greatest club spines ever. Rts, lolohea, Johnson, luke

These f**king articles are behind a paywall.

Why are people so stupid not to realise you can't link a paywalled article?

Copy and god damn paste.

Don't watch much football hey? Coote made his debut seven years ago, Morgan has been around the NRL for five years.

It's non quantifiable but the Cowboys are definitely up there in the top tier.

I'm still surprised the CM actually gave the Cows some credit.
Last I read there was a Cows vs Broncs team comparison and the Broncos won.
The halves were separated by a point lol.

Frankly I don't think any team in the comp has a truly great spine. All of them have at least one plodder weighing the rest down.

Manly probably are closest to it.... although fat lot of good its doing them right now :lol:

I really did think you would've attacked me for this thread :lol: CM generally do go all pro-Broncos yes, but you can't deny them having something soft for the Cowboys.
