Generally, I do not boo. I just don't think it worth the energy or doing something which could fire up the opposition.

Only times I do usually happen when:

1. An act of what I consider foul/dangerous play occurs; or
2. The referee, in my opinion, makes a howler of a bad call on field.

For example, when the Roosters played South in the last round of 2022 at Allianz, which was the first Roosters home game since the Mitchell high tackle on Manu, even though I didn't like what Latrell had done the previous year I didn't boo him. I did though cheer every time my team's defenders bottled him up, or drove him back in tackles.

I boo refs but I also boo my mates who have ordered a Canadian Club. I’m a harsh marker.
Every time I see someone with a Canadian Club I say "stick that in your chairhole" and this is the look I usually get

Booing and cheering are the only ways fans can actually have an influence on the game. Why would you take away 50% of what you can contribute?

We all agree that players lift when their home ground is behind them cheering them on. The inverse is obviously true too in that some players get disheartened by booing and play worse.

latrell is a good example. Being booed clearly had a negative impact on his performances at times over the last 2 years, so that’s plenty of reason for fans to keep doing it.

honestly I don’t understand anyone who gets angry at booing. Its been a part of sport since forever

It makes some losers feel better about their pathetic lives. Totally unnecessary though unless of course someone commits a blatant cheap shot or does something that endangers other players.
I am a winner, I love my life, people like me, I am very comfortable in my own skin.

And I boo (or used to) Melbourne, and probably always will.

I absolutely hated not only that they cheated, but that they continue to publicly claim the premierships they were stripped of for cheating, I hate that only one man has taken on full responsibility for it when there's no chance that a host of big name Hall of Famers were privy to it, and that they turned up the game after they were stripped in 2010, with an illegally assembled side competing for no competition points, and pulverised my team like they were playing with a siege mentality, an oh woe is us we didn't deserve this, other people are doing it too.

And I'm moving to Melbourne soon, not just to boo them but it will be a nice side venture for me

That is a totally justified reason to boo. I have absolutely no issue with that at all.

He will become the modern Lodge... well deserved too
He's not Lodge. Lodge is a next level piece of shit. What he did is not comparable to what Mam did.

Thank you brother. I feel like a lot of us can unite in boo-dom of Melbourne, and probably a lot of the refs, because they're shit and it never hurts to boo at home, in hope of getting home town calls.

merkins like Latrell deserve it for life after his absolute dogshot on his former team mate Manu.
Another example is Barnett after his elbow to Chris Smith's jaw, was the most disgusting act since Danny Williams

I did not boo Latrell after his intentional dog shot hit that shattered Joey Manu's cheek bone, i just lost all respect for him as a footballer and a human being.
