A lot of mincing. A bit of prancing.I've never been in a meeting. What exactly happens?
Rinse and repeat.

I’m a f**kwit, no doubt. The fact I think Moses would make a decent captain, doesn’t make the concept invalid. You could be right.
Can you tell me why that's the case and if you have a point I'll be happy to say so.
and minutes…always minutes. The previous Eels boards would suggest you make them as public and transparent as possible.A lot of mincing. A bit of prancing.
Rinse and repeat.
So really you think it’s irrelevant who is captain.*Turbo
Were you late? If so, I’d be ordering. To be fair, I’d call and find out what you wanted. You’re paying next time merkin. And the fact that he got to the coffee shop before me and didn't buy me one, pissed me off. I'd never do that. I'd wait.
If you asked me for one word I would have said 'leadership'. You used 71 and it was nowhere to be seen.I’m a f**kwit, no doubt. The fact I think Moses would make a decent captain, doesn’t make the concept invalid.
Can I ask what you think makes a good captain?
My criteria is:
- generally makes good decisions on and off the field
- is articulate (to talk to refs and the media)
- is smart on and off the field
- one of the best players on the team (no one is going to be led by a nuffy)
- they’re tough and put in effort consistently
- respected amongst their peers
and most importantly…
- can make tough calls, even if they’re unpopular (this may involve delivering some hard truths).
I'm suggesting that leadership is relevant. So really you think it’s irrelevant who is captain.
Exactly and you'd want to make an impression if you were meeting me the first time. I can be quite intimidating. Similar to Nathan Brown taking it up for the 4th tackle settler. Were you late? If so, I’d be ordering. To be fair, I’d call and find out what you wanted. You’re paying next time merkin.
…and I would argue that all those things constitute leadership. Leadership is a term people like to throw around but few people like to define. If you asked me for one word I would have said 'leadership'. You used 71 and it was nowhere to be seen.
So you’re a wet lettuce. Haha. Mate I would make it an extra large if I ever had the privilege.Exactly and you'd want to make an impression if you were meeting me the first time. I can be quite intimidating. Similar to Nathan Brown taking it up for the 4th tackle settler.
All of those things don't in and of themselves constitute leadership. You just listed a bunch of 'good footys'.…and I would argue that all those things constitute leadership. Leadership is a term people like to throw around but few people like to define.
Leadership: the ability to lead.…and I would argue that all those things constitute leadership. Leadership is a term people like to throw around but few people like to define.
Actually. No you didn't @Happy MEel. Re-read and happen to agree. All of those things don't in and of themselves constitute leadership. You just listed a bunch of 'good footys'.
Was it f**ken Dylbags or not? He strikes me as a merkin always on the phone.Exactly and you'd want to make an impression if you were meeting me the first time. I can be quite intimidating. Similar to Nathan Brown taking it up for the 4th tackle settler.
#I'mAWebsterBabyLeadership: the ability to lead.
and what is the ability to lead, apart from some abstract concept?Leadership: the ability to lead.
I've always been a Collins mini man myself.#I'mAWebsterBaby
f**k, I didn't expect follow up questions. I'll be right back.
In a football environment, considering the people they are “leading”, I would argue they do.All of those things don't in and of themselves constitute leadership. You just listed a bunch of 'good footys'.
