Yep. If I ever go to a craft beer brewery (and there are a lot around here) I always ask the bar staff which is their most normal tasting beer…which is usually the lager and even that is often average.

I think they're adding an attack coach because the attack is not as good as it should be. And they'll possibly add a defence coach for the same reason.

I think you're seeing what you want to see. Here's something for you to ponder: does nobody coach our defence since Kidwell left? Or is it possible some resources were redirected?

I think all lagers taste the same. In fact I quit drinking beer for long time until I went to a Christmas party where they had pale ales (Little Creatures to be exact). I've been a convert since. It's very mainstream, at least over here, so I don't think it qualifies as craft beer. But if I'm ever forced to drink lager it's always a bit ho hum.

Well Barrett was the attack coach at Penrith, and got a head coach gig on the strength of that performance. If we're going to hire a quality assistant coach why not put him in the role where he's proven?

I'm sure they are. Every now and then I'll try some fruity craft beer I've never had before and sometimes they are awesome. They're usually better than any given lager anyway.

They will add an attacking coach (Barrett) and a defensive coach because most clubs have at least 2 main assistant coaches, one with a focus on each of these areas and because both Kidwell and Murphy were not extended beyond 2022 and at the start of this year, that is the roles they each filled.

Wouldn't want to stick it in the wrong place. The sniff test helps prevent that, most of the time.
