Penisini trust your halfback.

Sivo. Many more hit ups required at speed.

I like the Barrett addition. Panthers attacks not been as high octane since he left.
As much as Dogs fans got erect when Potter took over they had better performances under Barrett. Potter gave them a sugar hit. Some trick plays which work a handful of games untill every other coach works them out. Then they are back to square one.
On Barrett when the Dogs signed him it was all possitive. Gould was always going to swing his axe. What a new coach does is gives you 2yrs. If he kept Trent he goes into 2023 into his 3rd season and fans wants results.
Sack him, sign a new coach for 5yrs and then you've bought time to fix the poor squad the previous coach and management put together.
Reality is of course they'll improve in that time. Your getting more chances to sign better players and get it right.

But they've added Kikau,Mahoney,TPJ and about to pay Burton 1mill. Burton's a gun but how much does he improve?
Mahoneys looking more like an average player by the day.
Kikau will be 28 and won a premiership. How much will he want it?
TPJ is also a gun but can be lazy.
Then they add a rookie coach.
The nucleus of their success is based on a lot of things going right.

Tiger on the other hand have added Papali'i and Korisau. I have no doubt both will be great and are safer signing then what the Dogs have landed. Api is the best 9 going around while Papali'i is consistently very good. I expect them to perform well next season.

Yeah the Oggie ship has sailed. At this point he does not bring to the bench what we were seeking from picking up Klemmer or Taupau. Emu doesn’t have the motor I reckon. Five mins of NRL and he will be gassed and a liability.

As much as Makka is average, he actually can stay on his toes and punch out 20 mins. So I guess he is all we have.

Carty has taken the utility role. We need two props for rotation. Agree EEZ could do a job, but he woukd need to fit into the edge somehow.
