I'd be judging Webster in a few years, not after 6 months.
He isn't a better prospect that BA.
Neither is Payten.

Robbo is a great coach, i think his time has just come at the Roosters and he needs a change of scenery.

If he was going to get punted, then i'd make a play at him, but then you have to ask if his style suits us and without the endless bucketload of Roosters sombrero deals if he's all he's cracked up to be

Why would he need a change of scenery?
If he's a great coach then he should be fine to stay where he is, just like Bellamy in Melbourne.

I don't see him getting punted any time soon. He's had one dismal year previously when they won the spoon (had a shitload of injuries that year I believe) and now a below average year this year. He's also won 3 Premierships there, the last being only 4 years ago.

He'd also be mad to leave their of his own accord. Roosters have a shitload of advantages that most other clubs just don't have. Unless he gets an offer from Melbourne or the Broncos, there's no point leaving.

Us missing the finals would be a failed season yes and BA should be under pressure.

But there have been circumstances outside BA's control this year I reckon.

Dylan going out and getting himself rubbed out for 7 games for off field stupidity.

Matto costing us big time in those 3 weeks at the start being a tight arse from last year.

Moses stuffing around the contract talks didn't help his game in the first 6 weeks. We lost 3 games on GK.

Reg getting himself rubbed out for a month for sheer laziness and stupidity.

The greatest tragedy is our game stands up against the best Penrith, Storm and after belting Souths there really is no one we should have feared come finals time.
