I honestly don't think we can go backwards with another coach, no matter who they are. We are sliding backwards at 100 miles an hour at the moment. BA is cooked...it's over

Credit where credit is due - while two games is a small sample size, Arthur has done some very good things lately:

* giving Carty an extended run

* giving Emu an extended run

* handing Moretti a well-earned debut

* putting Simonsson in the centres - he's looked comfortable, broken tackles for fun, and set up Sivo a few times

* showing faith in Russell, after a poor return to First Grade - he needs to work on his finishing, but he rucks the ball out well, and is quick

* giving Ogden a few more games - he's been strong


I think Brad is starting to get a good team together on paper.

But still - trusting Emu to fill Paulo's shoes, even temporarily, was a great move.

He wasn’t blocking anyone’s pathway. We currently have Rankin in the halves in reserve grade. He’s not even top 30. In fact we had to move Asi to the halves.
