I never said he’s that good. I was replying to some merkin claiming Robinson’s shit because his team is going to miss the finals. Do you see the difference? When you say someone is shit and I explain why they’re not it doesn’t mean I am claiming they’re great. Almost none of these people are shit or great. They are somewhere in between, either overrated or underrated by the typical rugby league mob.

I only ever said he wasn't as bad as you merkins claimed. He proved it by taking the Warriors to the finals that one time. Pretty poor coach, sure, but his 23% record at Parra reflected more on our club than on him. Ricky Stuart is a premiership winner and he did even worse here than Kearney. No wonder he f**ked off to Canberra. He's a decent coach, and was too good for us back then.
He played 167 NRL games for three different clubs. He wasn't a good player but he was better than half the merkins on full time contracts. You calling him garbage reflects poorly on you. I'm telling you this privately, as a close friend.
I definitely believe it. The typical footy fan is just unable to see things in any terms other than black and white. I've been telling you merkins for ages that Paulo is a defensive liability, for example. But he is still one of my favourite players. He is capable of winning us a close game if our defence can ever keep us in the contest. It's very exciting. But I am concerned that none of the top clubs has a forward like him. The closest is Taupau at the Broncos, and he rarely plays 30 minutes.
Maybe you should go there and tell us all what it's like
