One pass mark in a final series in a decade is nothing to ride home about and its absolutely laughable that brad will be here for at least another 2 years. What an absolute joke.

One pass mark out of 10 is fkd. He should fall on his sword for the good of the club and follow Jake out the door. He has failed and will continue to fail. Anyone that still wants Brad here accepts mediocrity, its that fkn simple....

Bad luck I got brainwashed to follow this mob when I was 5.
I sat next to some Eels fans last night. Parents with two sons, one 6 and one about 4. After it got about 42 zip they wanted to go home, the dad said no we are staying till the end. Poor kid I said to them you guys should be charged with child abuse. If you want to follow this mob fine but don’t do it to your kids. They didn’t find it funny.

Sounds cringe but 2017, 2019, 2021 & 2022 finals deserve a passmark tbh.

We got dudded in our losses in 2017 & 2021 by the premiers that season. We lost by 2 points both times in controversial circumstances. Nothing BA could do with shit referee decisions we got royally screwed. And if we win those games the whole finals series looks completely different in both years.

2019 off a wooden spoon we flogged the Broncos 58-0 so I consider that a pass with the wonderful afternoon the team gave us despite the poor performance the following week which was poor. But we basically broke the Broncos which enabled them to win a spoon the following year

And last year we made the GF.

Truth is my great grandparents on mom's side were roosters fans my grandmother changed the cycle moving to ermington from paddington.

I stir her up as she reckons her parents would cringe knowing her great grand kids they never met were not roosters fans and supporting parra thanks Nan.

Poor JA, if he stayed, he probably would played all the games to replace Dyl
and now Moses, he would've played the remaining 2.

At Manly, he's played 1 or 2 games off the bench

Hasler is a better coach and he was available up until 6 weeks or so ago. After our shitty first 2 months of the season we should have been sounding him out IMO. Said it plenty of times too, not just spouting hindsight here....
I don’t know how I feel about Hasler as eels coach. No body with close manly ties please. I did think he did well as coach in his first few years with the dogs.

Yep, we would often get shot down saying Hasler or Flanagan are both better options. Dumb merkins would say ‘there’s a reason why they aren’t coaching’. We should have snapped either one up.

Why is it that The Warriors, in a different country no less, chose Webster over all others? Didnt chase Ciraldo, Hasler, Flanagan, Maguire (who happens to be their National Coach), Ryles etc, etc. They chose a bloke nobody wanted.
Looks like they have some smarts within their organisation. Probably did their due diligence very well. A terrific get for them. You only have to watch Johnson play and their commitment to the game plan.
Gee I hope they go all the way.
Makes me think there are others lurking in the background. I guess its why I fancy Wallace. Hopefully our club is doing some due diligence if they are contemplating change.

There is absolutely no chance the peanuts in charge at Parra are doing their due diligence and/or contemplating change. And with this new board structure it is very difficult to get rid of these peanuts.

They both have jobs again let's see how those 2 peanuts go. Both have won competitions so would be better than what we have now.

It's interesting that if you take 2016 as an onfield passmark (we won enough games to make the finals but the Board screwed us), and count it as a top 8 position, we are one of only 5 teams to finish top 8 at least 6 times in those 7 seasons (Melb have 7/7 and Roosters, Sharks, Penrith and us have 6/7.
