I'm warming to the idea of giving Morris a go especially now that Hasler is off the market
They made the 8 under Morris his first year and he was under the pump after not promised to be renewed. Treated poorly I reckon he’s not the worst option. I mean continually doing the same thing and expecting different results is the definition of Baldness and Parramatta.

Maybe we get Morris here next season for a transition for 2025??? Bea can get a gig elsewhere or the club find him a role around the club?? Do we even have a succession plan?? Just gone all in on a spoon winning coach who has won nothing in a decade.
Dont you think Barrett will get the transition role?

He's failed twice as a head coach, but then again it's Parra so who knows.

Manly and Canterbury weren't exactly in the best positions when he took over the jobs at those clubs.

IN saying that, he's probably not right for the Eels job either.
I mean, he's still at the Dogs right? Gus said he will be there long after he will be.

He can't manage players properly.

May be good tactically but to be the HC coach you need to be able to man manage players especially players who are limited in there ability or battlers.

I think Trent struggles with that as he was always a star player.

Cant they split the roles.... BA the dad, Barrett the jock?

I voted Yes and haven't had cause to change it. I don't have enough inside info to know if an incumbent coach should be kept or rissoled. But I think his on-field results have been good.

I think it's easier for an outsider to make a call on whether or not they want any given new coach to come in. Honestly, I like most of them. I don't think coaching is our 'problem', if you consider not being the best club to be a problem with a simple solution.

He’s stale and we need change.
