As one of Brad's most vocal critics, for some reason I'm starting to turn and would rather let him see out his contract....don't know why, just a gut feeling, but I reckon he's gonna get it right finally after ten years, and I have a good feeling for this season.

I vow....I won't criticise Bradley this season no matter how bad it gets.

I haven't changed my stance - that Arthur shouldn't have been kpi/extended - but I'm actually feeling less hope for this season?

Still haven't really gained any quality advances to fill the gaps in the backline (which opened up when Waqa's defence went wacka), so just left with hope (rather than out and out confidence) in our troops when our depth is tested - as it no doubt will be in every season if injuries, rep duty and suspensions occur.

I'll support BA while he's serving out the contract and hope we break the drought this (and every) season... but after 12(?) years and only once troubling the top four, I'm very open to an early replacement, or the start of our next coaching team.

I feel as if the core playing group have the upmost respect for the coach and understand the pressure he is under going into this season.

This bodes well for strong performances and a resolute playing group.

Personally, I see faults in BA’s kitbag; but I don’t think removing him would outweigh the disharmony it would bring to the club. We can challenge for a competition with him despite his flaws.

He should have thrown that game against us a couple of years ago to avoid being tumbled out of the finals early.

No sense of strategy.

There were plenty of Wentys available.

A lot of opportunities to rest players, fake a few injuries, anxiety…

Instead he got the bald line fever.

Like Prince Andrew, has to be noble.

He took the cowards way out and won the game. Should have been reprimanded for his hubris.

I’ve gone off him over the pre-season.

If we miss the finals again I think it would be time for change.

You cant keep a 11 year coach after missing finals 2 years in a row no matter the excuses that get trotted out.

In hindsight there were a few things out of BA's control last year that shaped the way the season went. And I suppose after the previous 4 years of being a top 6 side and making a GF.

He built enough credit up. BA has never lost the dressing room either.

But if there is another season of mediocrity where we miss the finals this year. Time to look elsewhere come September and fresh start.

If we finish 7th or 8th and get bundled out week one would you want him there next year? He needs to finish top 4 and / or make the prelim at least. If we aren't seriously challenging for a premiership then he needs to go. How many f**king chances does the bloke need?

I agree. Just making top 8 and knocked out early isn't enough with our forward pack and spine.

Assuming it turns to shit I cannot see our current administration sacking him and paying him out for 2025.

Strategically if he fails we should sign a coach for 2026 after this season and hope he quits or finds another opportunity averting a payout.

We did it to Brian Smith by signing Hagan for season 2007 in 2005. Smith eventually quit by mid 2006 before JT took over and taking us to the semis. The first coach to ever do it as a caretaker.

The coach that is the obvious choice, knows our systems and is experienced is Holbrook. Bennett will be older than Joe Biden so I think he will not be a realistic chance.

I’ve wanted Holbrook in the past but heard some concerning things around his ‘focus’ on defence during his time at the Titans.
