It should have happened 12 months ago. Maybe even longer before that. We are all going through the pain of another freaking wasted season.

Every man and his dog could see that our game style and tactics have not changed for years, even in our Grand Final year. BA just couldn't keep up with the changes in the NRL. He started out as a country team coach and never advanced.
Thank f**king god he is finally rid of this club. His heart was there no doubt. God love him. His abilities were not.
The next coaching appointment is without doubt the most important in the club's history.
The decision should not be taken lightly.

For his dedication, love of the club, and carrying the club through the some tough times he deserves credit.
Whatever you think of his coaching, he seems an entirely honest and dignified man.
You could probably argue he protected his players too much. God knows Ricky would have thrown plenty under the bus by now.

What ever you think of BA (and I think he did a great job) he deserves some credit!!

We were a basket case for his first few years….and if he took the manly offer during the salary cap crap, we were cooked! He carried the club during 2016!

And to make the finals the following year was a great effort.

Yeah he got a spoon but did follow that with 4 semis final appearances, which include 2 top 4 finishes and a GF. Let’s see if any of the current highly rated new coaches can achieve that (CC, Fitz, Webby, Payton).

Yep last 2 years have been poor but think he deserves some respect!! Not many are blue and gold as him.

When he started 2014, being off the bottom was the goal, when he finished today making the top 4 and winning the premiership is the goal….

forever grateful for what he did for the eels!!

We are back to 'getting out of the bottom 4' is the goal.
