The Tigers conceded 50 to a worse team than Melbourne (us) a few weeks ago. Does that mean their coach is useless or that he's to blame?
We have huge leadership problems in our team, and it won't be solved by changing coaches. We need to buy some leaders, like we tried to do a few years ago. Replacing Arthur will probably help with a fresh start too.
Pretty sure in the past you’ve belted down our throats the only leadership we need is from a coach.
Anyways, how much of a distraction does everyone think these contracts talks are creating? With so much uncertainty, I can’t see neither coach or players remaining 100% focused till their futures are sorted. Surely by now, the board has seen enough to either sack or even back BA with a contract.
If it takes the board half of 2019 just to re-asses BA, how long with they require just to appoint a replacement if he’s sacked? August? September? Surely that’ll be way too late to attempt to assemble anything remotely decent in terms of roster for season 2020?
Ah f*^king well. The joys of being an eels fan...
