He might not have finished growing though. We didn't know. It was an opportunity. He is 179 cms. Those wingers went out years ago. It was a poor decision.

Cherry picking....
Look at re-signings also like Norman,W.Smith,Taka,Bevan, J.Falou
Then look at these. Sure some where borderline ok. But most a failure.
MJ, Evans, Foran, Watmough, Pritchard, Vave, Hayne, Hasson, Nelson, Beau Scott, Hoffman, Beau Champion, B .Crooks, Faasso, Auva, Fogarty, Matagi
The fact we signed a guy like GL to a 3yr deal and poured time into him says a lot. Most on here who seen him picked him to never play NRL due to his pint size. Sure if he come via junior system you give him a year to year deal. We brought him down from the titans and gave him a 3yr deal and a top 30 spot for the last 2 seasons. To me that shows a very poor judgement.
I wonder how many times opposition teams have reached 40+ against us since 2014? I’d say it’s more than most teams
Pretty sure you're wrong. In the past I've mentioned how Bennett wrote in his book that the leaders in the squad are more important than the coach.
The Colts GM in the NFL has almost exclusively drafted leaders the last 2 drafts. This year most of them were team captains for their college team.
He will take leaders with some skill over high skill players with no leadership as he believes the leaders will rub off on the rest of the team and lift the team as opposed to “me” only guys.
It worked last year, we went from a 4 win team to a 10 win team and won a play off game. Yes we got our QB back after 2 years of injuries but the defence and o-line had been garbage when our QB was fit and he always had to make up for them.
We’ll see how this year goes with his strategy and whether last year was a one off. We had 2 rookies in the first team All-Pro team last season so it certainly worked last year.
Dont think anyone here mentioned itYouse have probably already covered this but wtf @ Mahoney starting on the bench?
Reed dictates our line speed and we were flat as a tack from the outset. Him not being there from the beginning stifled us and we were never able to get a roll on.Before blaming BA for his tactics, he did bring Reed on midway through the first half and we were still in the game then.
Reed was on the entire second half when we turned to shit so what has the Peni experiment got to do with the result. It didn’t actually cost us.
2 of their big breaks to tries were a result of Peni walking into the line on a kick chase, then not bothering to even jog when the player went past him. Unusual as he often players with intent, F- from go to whoa . As said before, the team was expected to play to retain a coach they all want to stay and play under , didn't look like itReed dictates our line speed and we were flat as a tack from the outset. Him not being there from the beginning stifled is and we were never able to get a roll on.
Tigers 16 times 40+, including 2 x 60+ and 3 x 50+Good question. 12 times since 2014 including last night. That includes 3 scores of 50+.
Off the top of my head, we've had 60+ put on us 5 times overall that I can think of.
Obviously the fault of the coach. Who was he?Tigers 16 times 40+, including 2 x 60+ and 3 x 50+
Not Toovey.Obviously the fault of the coach. Who was he?
