We need a fresh start and a circuit breaker.

Starts with the coach it's best to part ways after this year considering we only have 5 players locked in post 2025. It's the time to go in a new direction.

It will give the new coach a perfect opportunity to have the roster he wants within 12 months by choosing who he wants and not carry the can for BA's roster and style.

Keeping BA in 2025 will set us back longer as it will mean players will already have committed post 2025 and some of them the new coach may not really want.

Couldn't agree more.

Well done Brad.

$19 is actually exceptionally decent odds. If Moses comes back, plays Origin and has a season ending injury, and the operation doesn't work out well with Gutho, we'd almost be a certainty...

Let me have $5 on that...

Surely the end is nigh for him?

I'm willing to concede that Arthur is doing it tough without Moses, Gutherson, and a few disruptions to start the season (not to mention the clusterf**k of injuries, and suspensions, last year).

fair point but probabaly should have been repalced before the season started

pity the bloke who would have taken over though with our current injury list

the players aren't playing for him and aren't capable of playing his style.

Does he even have a style? No, he doesn't.
Our attack is shite. Our defence is shite. Absolutely no plan in any game whatsoever.
It is no wonder that our players look completely clueless game after game.
It has nothing to do with both Moses and Gutho missing.
Those two players have been the band aids that are holding the club and BA's job together, when they are available.
We've seen time after time that without them, we have no idea. Is it now 11 games in a row that we have lost when Gutho hasn't been captain or playing?
These two, on their own are evidence that BA should go, because they are the two players that have saved his arse for so long now.
If our board are serious about bringing success to this club, they would pull the trigger tonight.
What advantage is there in continuing with a stalwart that is clearly not going to take this club to the heights we are clearly capable of and CLEARLY have the resources to do so?

couldn't agree more. You hot the anil on the head. I really have little to add.

i feel like we play the same "game plan" (whatever it is) every week. we never change things up, target another team's weakness. it just feels like he never researches the opposition.

like it all magically going to work one day. It must be unbearable being Barret - even with all his coaching deficiencies

Agreed. I would tell Barrett tonight, it's your team for the rest of the season, show us what you've got and convince us you're capable of being the coach long term.... All the while I would still be looking for someone else for next year... Holbrook or Hannay or Morris I suppose....

Oh and by the way, if BA goes, that useless turd Murph goes as well, there's no debate....

Yep 11 in a row lost without Gutho.

Average losing margin is 20 points in those 11 games.

Take out the 2 finals losses in 2017 which were tight affairs.

It jumps up to 23 the average losing margin in the regular season.
