Kick arse show from the mid 90's

Only ran for 1 season I think (got banned)

The devil type guy ran the cop shop and he did some wicked stuff to passers by and townsfolk who were not down with him.

His girl was one hot chick and he had some running battles with Kaleb the little kid who was his son and had his number.

They had a big showdown at the end of series one but it never returned

Too evil...in other words people objected to the satanic tones by the sounds of things.

it had a lot of horror themes, like the guy that came into town and knowing the guy was claustrophobic the sheriff buried him alive and he woke up in a coffin 6ft down.

Basically the Sheriff had powers and it was indicated that he was the devil. If people didn’t do his bidding he would screw them over big time.

I guess it was a bit over the top for a lot of conservative Americans. The satanic theme was very strong and I gather that was the main reason it was banned.

I remember this show! I thought it was good.

Best episode was one of the final episodes shown I think. Originally caleb's aunty or cousin or whoever she was, was against the evil sheriff, but when he comments "haven't you ever wondered what it would be like?" in reference to sleeping together she falls pregnant to him.
This resulted in her cooking a roast but ending up eating it raw and drinking the blood to satisfy her cravings - great viewing :lol:

And then it never returned :?

Anyone remember the episode about the "potato boy"?

It was a pretty good show not as good as the X-Files.

I didn't mind the early x files, when they started with all the mulder sister stuff it lost me. The ones with the freaky stuff was good. Anyone remember the "Extraordinary" that was a freaky show, Warrick Moss had the best voice for that show.

And really, they were mostly lame stories about how someone's vase moved from the left side of the table to the right side during the night. spooky :?

The early X Files episodes were the best. Especially the stretchy guy who lived off bile and could crawl through tiny spaces
