We're not going to win if Parra put in an effort like they did against the Warriors, and if we don't drastically improve, we're gone!

Big turn around from the boys this week and the likes of sandow and hayne not given the room they did on satuday.

Dogs by 10.

We lost 24-12 after leading 12-4 and playing good attacking footy. We didn't get our arse kicked.

Parramatta are a one-trick pony. Make Sandow nervous and their whole attack falls apart.

I'm quietly confident with this game as you guys have to much strike power out and the tries you scored against the Cowboys weren't that great and were a touch of luck that cowboys didn't recover when knocking the ball down on both occasions

But I expect your blokes to really come out firing

But timmah how are we a one trick pony? If anything the confidence of sandow and hayne gives us more options than just having hayne firing now. Especially with reni and Loko and how they caused havok down that edge.
And tbh hayne was just playing a supporting role so if he chimes in it'll give dogs head aches.
Going to be a close game!

Good luck guys :)

Sandow's confidence is very easily dented. If we get behind your line a couple of times, I expect the floodgates to open and errors to creep in.

The one trick pony is Hayne. He is very, very good and if he fires like he did last week, that's where we'll lose it.

Hayne didn't actually do a hell of a lot last week he just played a good supporting role. If he chimes in with some play making then he will cause some head aches

You guys weren't that good against cowboys though

Without barba your attack is a bit dry

Dogs by 8. We won't make the errors we did against the Cows two weeks in a row, and the Eels are a weak side.

I think the Dogs will win (the Eels need more than one good game for me to forget the 2012 spoon), but don't mistake leading a game and playing well. The dogs were very lucky to have either try given and they were soundly beaten. But they were beaten by one of the best sides in the comp and are missing their best players so I certainly haven't written the dogs off for 2013

Very lucky to have either try given? They were both completely legal tries.

Both were awarded, doesn't necessarily mean they were necessarily legal. IMO (and in a lot of others opinion as well), the first try should have disallowed for a push, much like the disallowed try in the Tiges/Knights game. As for the second try, I'm not convinced (though I haven't seen sought out footage to convince me one way or another) that Turner wasn't offside from the rebound off Morris. Regardless there was more than a little luck involved in both tries. The Cows controlled the game from that point onwards.

There was a bit of luck in those tries but they were given fairly. Just like there was luck in the 1st Graham try... which was also given fairly.

It was a sloppy performance by both sides, but in fairness to the Dogs you did have out half you pack and the third best fullback in the game. Unfortunately for you guys, you won't get the same opportunities with Souths come round 4.
