According to Danny weidler:roll: Steve Folkes has set down a rule in the club if you turn up to a recovery session with an alcohol reading of 0.10 or higher you will be dropped from 1st grade.

 What an absolute joke of a club.

Seriously, what's this going to achieve? It's okay to have stubbies for breakfast boys, because as long as you have them around 7am then you'll be fine for the 9am session?

All NRL clubs should be zero tolerance when it comes to drugs, and zero tolerance when it comes to alcohol before training and games. Simple as that.

No not at all. These players train hard all week then play a tough game on weekends and deserve a drink or 2.
The only thing that concerned me is that 0.1 is still pi$$ed.

It's very easy to be 0.1 the morning after a night out. In other words, if they drink too much the night before, they'll get dropped from first grade.

BTW i think it's great that someone at the dogs can see that maybe their is an alcohol problem at the club and is trying to do something about it.

Really? At my local at times i've blown not far above .1 and I'd been very merry. The only times I've felt similar upon waking up I have done more than drink too much I can tell you that.

you can be 0.01 the morning after a big night, but if after a big night, and a decent sleep/period of no drinking and your still registering a 0.10, id say you've got one of 2 issues

1. your liver is f**ked
2. you'd drink booney under the table, cause f**k me you'd have to down ALOT of piss to blow a 0.10 the next morning

I think thats more to the point, Ibeme

They cant be there to check on them of a night time, so by testing them for moderate levels in the morning, they are able to tell if they had a big night.

At least they are doing something about a situation they are clearly not happy with.

just curious, lets say they rock up to training, and blow a 0.09... they dont get dropped but unless they got mummy to drive them to training they were drink driving.... surely thats worthy of more then being dropped?

EDIT: bloke above beat me too it

The initial poster has posted something rumoured to be said by Danny Weidler, he's an Eels fan (the 'Dogs opponents this weekend), and then failed to back it up in any way shape or form.

Yet you're all willing to believe it...

LOL, you honestly believe that Weidler said that because the Eels are playing the Dogs this weekend? Paranoia run wild...
