So i count 13 Developing nations with Domestic Competitions then you add Aus, NZ England, France and PNG which takes us to 18 Donestic Competitions being played every year.

Thats pretty good, then you consider Holland, Germany, Czech Republic and Malta are looking at running domestic competitons in the near future...our game has come a long way but still has alot more ahead of us.

Care to add any more teams or competitions??

Aren't there some fairly large question marks over the South African competition?

What happened to the Aberavon Fighting Irish in the Welsh competition?

How many of those sides are over 10 years old?

I'd say not more than half a dozen.

I think they changed there name last year to Neath Port Talbot Steelers

Swansea Valley Miners RLC also pulled out last year because the guy running it needed a break for family and work etc etc. Which is a shame because they had a couple junior teams aswell as a senior team.

Some of these clubs are already iconic clubs after just a few year.
Nadera Panthers
Glen Mills Bulls
Dorcol Spiders
Locomotiv
Conneticut Wildcats
Jax Axe

These are sides i'd love to see making tours separate from national sides in future years.

Soccer has both national side competitions and dozens of tournaments involving club sides.

Union has only gone for national side competitions because their clubs are sh*t - but League clubs are strong money making concerns.
I'd love an annual pre season tournament where the champs of all the emerging nations could make their way to one country and play each other for instance - or maybe just some regular games like the champs of USA and Russia fight it out or Fiji v samoa etc.

Fairfax pulled out fo the American comp after without playing a game, and about 3 of the Irish teams likewise pulled out.

On a happier note there is a second division in Tonga, though not sure the line-up

Perhaps you should rename this list to first grade competitions since - as has already been stated - some of these nations have 2nd tier etc comps, especially the last 5 you mentioned. So rugby league has 18 first grade domestic comps around the world (though with France and NZ there is some transperancy because of teams in the NRL and SL).
