If you have a look at that entire quote Colonel I'd think you find that was said in jest.

I'm just typing.... still haven't come down from last nights high. My wife was dead set sure I was blind drunk.

Now my head is a bit level I understand what you were saying - I forgot the winking smiley face beside his quote!

Sorry Flatch,
Smith's comment was a short sharp jab at the Media.

Brian doesn't like lies in the media about our club. As he said at last years coaches forum, Rumours like this start from people who don't know a thing about the club and what we are doing, they aren’t there and can't tell me what is happening.

He gave the example of Jason Taylor coaching the club, to which he said I read it, went to training, walked up to Jason and said . . . Well I won't repeat is at this hour :)

Our defence is poor still...............boo-hoo.

With a name like yours, Parralight, I thought you would have 'seen the light' :)

Defence means jack. The team who wins a match is the team who scores the most points. So what if our oppponents score 30...if we score 31, then there's no problem.

Or would you prefer 1-0 victories?

Like it or not, league is an attacking game now. It favours the attacker (just look at the video ref rule, benefit of the doubt goes to the attack)

I would much rather see the attacking display we saw on Saturday than a boring, defensive orientated side that wins games 6-2.

I'm just glad that we have made a decent start given the early draw we had. Before the season the first 4 weeks looked really tough, and I was thinking we may be lucky to get 2 points out of a possible 8. Especially after the first week it looked ominous. Glad to have been proved wrong!

Just because you are good at defence doesnt mean that you cant be great at attack. Look at the Roosters and the Eels in 2001!

Hey Icemandanno ... You are kidding right ???

Im glad we won but to say that defence means jack is.....

The main reasons the Rooters have played in the last couple of GFs is cause of their defence. Great defence creates great attack. There is no use scoring 40 points and then have the opposition score 42 ?? ... why am I saying all this . Back to footy kindy with you boy

We've come a long way since round 1.

Geez people have short memories. Lets face it, if our defence was better last year even in games we won, we may not have needed to worry so much about for and against. A simple win against the Panthers may have been enough.

The comp is to close these days to not worry about for and against!!!
