Meh, at the end of the day though lots of Rugby teams are represented in that way... Just look at the home nations! The England rose! They still won the World cup though. And it doesn't have to be a plant to be punsy either. The "springboks"? The "Wallabies" both teams are essentially named after road kill! It's rife in league aswell! Well the Waratah is the state flower, so it is representative at least.... I'll pay that force comment though, thats a bloody stupid name. Mind you I still think the Bronco's and especially the Cowboys are the worst mascots in Australian sport... Why is it Qlder's love NFL so much? Every time they name a team it's a rip off of some yankyball franchise!?! The Dolphins are a perfect example of this, but at least we have dolphins down here! But Cowboys? Yeah of course! Why wouldn't you want those black hating Nazi's to win over us Aussies? Why, how on earth could anyone outside Australia like the Wallabies when they are playing the wonderful Springboks? The team that has fans who, when they're losing, hurl beer bottles at the opposing team, or send fans that have hitler mustache's to tackle refs when decision's don't go their way? They are so wonderful aren't they? And their history is littered with examples of their grace and understanding. Like that tour the All Blacks made where they allowd them to bring 3 Maori players who were deemed "honorary whites" for their stay in South Africa.
