I know Dragon Army is the tried and tested generalisation for our core group of supporters, but for things a tad more official when conducting general business we require something a bit more "official" so to speak. Just a general brain storm exercise, but i've plucked some ideas from thin air for the sake of the argument. Call it the "Sydney Based Dragons Supporters" (SBDS) group or something. The QLD and Melbourne crew have similar titles and organisation. I think something thereabouts for simplicity would be the go. Then again, perhaps...."The Dragons Den" (Home of the Dragons) seeing Sydney is the home base for the mighty red n whites. Just my 2 bobs worth.

Not everyone will agree with some things, but I think it is quite clear here what the issue really is. And it's not just Jubbsy.....I'm sure everyone agrees with the concept, but to make things easy, dont touch the words 'Dragon Army'.

I think it's a great idea and will make it easier for Pete, Stel, Ray and the other's to organise things. We have people who have been in the Army for that long they know where to go, what to do, and don't need to be told, but this is for the benefit of everyone else. It's a good idea.

I think the establishment of any sort of "official" group of supporters is frankly, embarrassing and unnecessary. I can understand the Melbourne and QLD groups doing it because of their need to collectively organise events and get togethers, as they can't attend matches.

Examples we see in the NRL are usually just contrived vehicles of club management or pathetic attempts by supporters of the likes of the Scum to show someone actually supports the team. I would rather stab myself in the eye than to sit in our equivalent of the "Burrow".

you can't please everyone, and i'm sure the people that are keen, will show their support, stel and pete do a great job, and they just have everyone's best interest at heart.i'm always happy to add some small contribution.

A labor bloke (Jubbsy) not in favour of the collective voice and organisation...
A liberal bloke (Slaters) in favour...

Has there been a shift in the magnetic poles? Is this a dream?

I agree with these sentiments.

As I said, In my opinion the best thing would be to make Our Red Vee official. People already recognize the name and respect it.
