DRAGONS ANNOUNCE TWO NEW ADDITIONS TO COACHING RANKS

Tuesday, 27 October 2009
The St George Illawarra Dragons have today announced two new additions to the clubs senior coaching structure, for the next two seasons.
International player and Coach Adrian Lam has been appointed Coach of the Dragons Under 20’s side, while former Dragons Under 20’s Assistant Coach Terry Gilogley has been named Coach of the Shellharbour City Dragons, the NRL squads feeder team in the NSW Cup.
Lam represented Papua New Guinea, Queensland, the Roosters, and Wigan Warriors as a player and is the current Head Coach of Papua New Guinea. Lam will join the Dragons from the Roosters where he was Coach of the Under 20s team and Assistant NRL Coach for the past two seasons.
Lam replaces Steve Price who has moved to full-time Assistant NRL coach to Wayne Bennett from next season.
Gilogley, has been involved in various coaching positions at the Dragons for the past seven years, acting as Steve Price’s Under 20’s Assistant Coach in 2009. He is the current coach of the Fiji national team and has coached previously at the Warrington Wolves in England and Villeneuve Leopards in France and with the Australian Institute of Sport Rugby League program.
Gilogley will replace outgoing Shellharbour Dragons Coach Mark Horo for season 2010, as the Dragons feeder squad look to improve on their 9th place finish in the 2009 NSW Cup.
