Rehab is going well but slowly.
Still painfull it is only a month.
But re hayne as far as I hsve been told . Never signed but was very close . At least we dodged a bullet there.
I personally never wanted him .

He was arrested this week for alleged sexual assault. Do we really want his type here..regardless of how good a player he is. Our incompetent recruitment people need to move fast to pick up someone who can double as fullback and outside centre.. otherwise we will be stuck again with duds Aitken and Dufty.

Not sure why we attack people who have mail??

A lot of people here being Dragons fans (and in JA) have connections to the club and of course will have access to info. Not all of it is accurate, in fact 90% never come true, but nothing wrong with passing info along.

As Crush says, its pretty easy to work out who the trolls are who post shit just to get a reaction. Believe me, there are few on here (they know who they are) and I avoid them like the plague as I have no time for nonsense. But I'll always discuss anything Dragons related - even rumours, as long as it comes from a credible poster.

And Crush is certainly one who I'd listen to.

I'm sure it was not yesterday but is was recently that the Holms thing was mentioned. As far as Millward is concerned, it is not the man - because I don't know him. It is because of the corruption and nepotism running rife in our club. It is because of the old boys system of putting preferred old boys ahead of the best interests of the Club. Nothing more than that.

I've got absolutely no doubt that if things were done by the book, SGI woud be a much more successful club on and off the field.

From what I've read it seems that the intercourse activity is not the issue, it was with consent from both parties. It seems that Hayne went a lot further than a friendly love bite and so bit off more than he will be able to chew.

Thats what makes me think he was on drugs at the time.
In a rational state, such events wouldn't have happen.

Consent can be revoked, perhaps that's what allegedly happened

Yes after the bite! I'm sure Haynes lawyer will run with the notion that in the heat of the moment, Hayne went further than he should have but that does not add up to rape and it does not take on the normal description of sexual assault. For goodness sakes it was always going to be a quicky, he had the taxi outside waiting for the duration.

You have got to be kidding.

"Sexual assault is any unwanted sexual behaviour that makes a person feel uncomfortable, threatened or scared. It covers:
  • Rape: forced, unwanted sex or sexual acts.
  • Child sexual abuse: using power over a child to involve that child in sexual activity.
  • Indecent assault: indecent behaviour before, during or after an assault. "
I would suggest that what Hayne did falls easily into point 1 or 3 and is definitely covered in the first sentence. I would imagine that if Hayne got aggressive and bit during sex, that the woman would feel uncomfortable, threatened or scared.

It doesn't have to add up to rape to be considered sexual assault and rape isn't the "normal description of sexual assault".
