I have been a dragons supporter all my life and I am 48 years old, but I dont think I have ever felt so disappointed with my club at this time of the year.We had a chance to get rid of McGregor after last season and we had a ready made replacement at the club and let him walk away. I will always support the dragons but the current board members should hang there heads in shame.

Notice how our coach and captain didn't seem to think there is much wrong with the way the Dragons played. This attitude has crept in since the early days of the Price era and now could be one of the main reasons why our Club is not progressing.

Club management should be held accountable and be held to account however, unfortunately the system is rigged to make it extremely difficult to rid ourselves of these people.

There is no logical reason for Mary to continue as our coach and for Widdop to remain in first grade. The time has come for Coyne to exert his influence and bring some sensibility to the management of the first grade squad.

When Ben Hunt arrives on his One Million + dollar contract - that's 1/6 of the cap, there's going to be massive cuts to our roster.

This will kill the club once and for all. Hunt is worth 550 max. It's a ridiculous contract that was passed by our uninspiring management.

I too have been following the Dragons for a long time 1975 ,
Just gutted how Mary is still the the coach , last year , I watched every game and the only one I liked was when we beat the sharks . Watched a lot of the cutters and 20's and got so much more enjoyment out of those games .
How JD is not the coach this year is beyond me.

Mate anyone that is smarter than the coaching staff they get rid of . The whole club is in shambles from the Janitor through to Doust . I honestly think they have no idea how to get out of the quick sand they are in .......

Yep, happy with their performance after not even getting close.
Also noticed that as soon as the full time siren went, so many of the players including the captain were smiling, laughing with the opposition, and looked happy.
They should be angry, disappointed, sad, embarrassed....anything but happy after a loss.
Its almost as if they were on stage performing to a script and the result did not matter.

Things are not that bad. Only need one decent half. McCrone is hardly a superstar but he again proved, he is an honest and reliable toiler who doesn't make many mistakes. Not the best but not the worst either. So that only leaves one more with a little talent and spark and determination. 3 things Widdop is hopelessly lacking.

But I believe such a player may be right under our noses in Mann and another who hopefully will be ready for regular first grade by the end of the season in Field. I wonder if Dufty could make a go of 5/8? As a fullback from what I have seen and heard, he has excellent ball-playing skills.
