I caught a few minutes of Talkin Sport on 2SM, even Tunks who is a great Dragons bashed stated, that Widdop is a good player, it's the coaching that is stifling him. Too much structure and same repeated plays...

But I'd say that surely if an opportunity opened up during the game, natural instinct would take over instead of hit up, pass, grubber kick...

I think you fill find all the media pundits who hate STI, or at least like to see us lose, defend Widdop. The situation has become so ridiculous that I think the smarter of the above mentioned media pundits who care about their credibility will choose just to say as little as possible on the subject. Tunks is either not very smart or doesn't care about his credibility as a media pundit.

I doubt Tunks has watched Widdop play that much, certainly he wouldn't have watched as many StGI games as many on this forum.

Doesn't matter either way the board is not listen now won't listen if we get the spoon either

Notice how our coach and captain didn't seem to think there is much wrong with the way the Dragons played. This attitude has crept in since the early days of the Price era and now could be one of the main reasons why our Club is not progressing.

Club management should be held accountable and be held to account however, unfortunately the system is rigged to make it extremely difficult to rid ourselves of these people.

There is no logical reason for Mary to continue as our coach and for Widdop to remain in first grade. The time has come for Coyne to exert his influence and bring some sensibility to the management of the first grade squad.[/QUOth
That's the problem.No other coach would watch the CS the performance that they dished up and say that it was Good.I do not know what it will take for the board and Mary to Wake Up and realise that the situation that the club is in now is their fault.The lack of guts to make tough calls regarding the players staff and board is disgraceful.Maybe getting the spoon might wake them up.As a supporter for over 40 years this would be rock bottom and the lowest point that I can remember this once proud club being in.
