I agree, I can't see one super coach following another. Mind you hope I'm wrong!
A done deal with the Storm definitely, he has also gone on record officially saying he won't coach against Smith, Cronk and Slater. Let's move on shall we, 3 years with Smith to take the reins following.
"A lot of people say it doesn't come down to money but most of the time if that is not at the top of the list it is pretty close," he said. "That will certainly be a part of it without a doubt. At this stage of my career the financial thing will be important. I have been here a long time and it has been a really good place for me but I have to consider if I have been here long enough. A lot of things come into it."
Lets make an offer he can't refuse. We're only a couple of players away from a great team. With such a calibre coach we could not only attract them but our existing players would also rise a few levels s well.
David Kidwell pulling out of the warriors job a couple of months ago is what makes me think Bellamy made his mind up then.I think we have him.Only what i think.I know he's a competitor. That means new challenges.
I think we're a real shot, but in the end, maybe he just won't be able to leave his boys.
Before christmasA lot of food for thought (both here and in JA). Good arguments both for and against. When did he say he'd make a decision? Before Christmas? Or before the season starts?
Before christmas
I like the sound of this. Big Dell can hold a gun to his head, and Doust can assure him either his signature or brain will be on the contract
